It's the ultimate adventure. No where else on earth can you wander through serene forests of Giant Sequoias and gaze back from peaks over 14,000 ft high. Looking down from the top of a monstrous peak, you see the land you just approached on from a whole new vantage point. Sequoia National Park is the nation's best kept secret. In it lies the heart of the High Sierra. On this trip, we'll be trekking 84 miles from the largest grove of Giant Sequoias to the towering peaks of the High Sierra. We'll gradually hike over the Great Western Divide (12,000 ft.) and cozy up to Kern Hot Springs. After that, we approach the Kings-Kern Divide and tour the most beautiful backcountry in the Park.
