Techniques of Relaxation |
Breath. Whenever you feel stressed, you should focus on breathing. Breath deeply and rhythmically, somewhat slowly. Try to relax every muscle in your body. Try to identify and understand what is stressing you out. Be real with yourself and the more you will understand yourself. If you understand the way you feel and identify the cause(s) of your stress, you can finally take control of them and rid your body of the pain they cause you. Close your eyes, breath deeply and exhale your worries slowly. |
Stretching is a great way to relax. The act of stretching before and after strenuous physical activity loosens your muscles up so that can receive fresh supplies of water and nutrients and rid themselves of lactic acid waste. Your muscles are tone. That means that they are always somewhat flexed to be ready for action. Stretching helps loosen the nerves and relieve some of that energy buildup. It gets rid of your negative stress energy buildup. Stretching helps relax your whole body. |
Stretching helps your blood flow and in ways can help clear your mind. Yoga is an excellent way to emphasize stretching and harness its beneficial effects on a regular basis. Some people swear that these exercises (and stretching in general) will prolong your healthy life. |
