Whether it's your first time in Yosemite or part of an annual pilgrimage, this trip will make you want to stay forever.

Yosemite is comprised of over 94% wilderness. Beyond the shadow of the valley giants and enormous waterfalls, there is pristine backcountry waiting for you to explore. And there's so much of it that you probably won't even see another person while you trek in the Park.

On this trip, we'll trek 28 miles from the southern reaches of the Park in the Ansel Adams Wilderness to a beautiful chain of lakes in the southern Yosemite High Sierra. Arrive at the Apple Tree Inn on Highway 49 (between Oakhurst and the southern gate of Yosemite) on the first evening of the trip for orientation and a good night's rest. We cover the cost and reservations for you. The next morning, we'll carpool to the Trail Head and begin our adventure. We'll cross through enchanting forests of Lodgepole Pines, hike over high alpine passes, and continue our quest for deep-blue lakes in the High Sierra. With new and old friends by your side, you'll feel the invigorating impact that Yosemite National Park has on your life.

It's looking down on Breeze Lake from a ridge 1000 feet above it. It's hiking hard to make it there and then jumping in that royal blue lake and feeling more refreshed than you've ever felt.
